Doing some further (DoF, Bokeh) test shots using the Nikon1 V1 with FT1 adapter. WARNING - there will be flowers (and maybe even some toys... and who knows what else.) I will try and contain the damage by mixing in some other shots as well. :)

The reasons why:
- in support of friends, and everyone, who have MS
- as implied by the red - to draw attention / raise awareness of MS
- and the sort of 'circular motif' in a way represents 'placing a target' on MS, and a hope for a cure some day

I can't imagine what it's like to have MS, though I've known a few people (friends, neighbors, co-workers) afflicted by it (including good Flickr friend Palo (www.flickr.com/photos/paloetic/)

In a sense though, I kind of envision it as the 'Big Bad Wolf', often preying on the young and innocent.

Let's hunt this monster down!

There was some interesting light that day. In a way, I wish it had stayed like that all day (would be a great photo-op!) Unfortunately, it was fleeting. But that's one of the really great things about the tiny RX100 - it's almost always with me and allows me to catch opportunities I'd otherwise have missed.

We had a day last week that started out as a nice, sunny day. Then a huge thunderstorm came, and lasted about 5 minutes. Then the sun came out again. Then it snowed. Then with dark storm clouds nestled all around, the sun came out again. It was a strange day, which I thought warranted a strange shot. :)
