My Optimus Prime cake. For the Groom.
Opti stands 18 inches tall, the whole cake stood about 2 and a 1/2 feet tall.

Optimus Prime Cake

This was one of the most challenging cakes I've done yet.
Optimus Prime is made with cereal treats and decorated with gumpaste and painted royal icing elements. The whole cake stands about two and a half feet tall.
Next time, I'm charging waaaaay more! ;^)

Cupcake tower. Top cake is pound cake with cream cheese filling, covered in lilac fondant, with lace, ribbon and a brooch at the border. The bride used her parent's cake topper from 30+ years ago. Such a nice touch!
Cupcakes were pound cake, chocolate-espresso and pink champagne.

Temperley-Inspired Cake and DIY Brooch Cake

Two new designs.
Black & white cake is inspired by a Temperley of London top that I saw Mila Kunis wearing in a magazine. Flowers are made with gumpaste and gelatin petals.

Pink cake was designed using my grandmother's brooch as inspiration. All decorations made with gumpaste, except for my grandmother's brooch, which is on the middle tier.

Groom's cake: 10" round coconut cake with chocolate buttercream, iced with chocolate ganache. Covered in blue fondant and decorated with a gum paste Cubs logo and custom, hand-made Wrigley Field cake topper.

Cake: Strawberry cake with cream cheese filling and iced in buttercream. Covered in pink and green fondant with accents of orange stripes, silver braiding and orange, pink and yellow gerbera daisies.

Four tiered wedding cake in ivory with white Swiss dots and pearl bead piping down the "back" of the cake, like the bride's dress. Her sister had made a cake topper, but it wasn't at the reception when I delivered the cake. I hope to get a picture of it later!
Bottom tier was amaretto cake with Swiss meringue buttercream, next tier up is vanilla cake with strawberry buttercream, next tier up is white chocolate raspberry cake with white chocolate mousse and fresh raspberries and top tier is strawberry cake with cream cheese filling.
Reception was held at the Aerial penthouse in downtown Nashville, TN.

Groom's cake was a gift from the bride to her groom.
Designed to represent the groom's hobbies and his love for all things St. Louis!
Top and bottom tiers are red velvet cake with cream cheese icing and middle tier is chocolate-espresso with Swiss Meringue buttercream and peanut butter-chocolate ganache.
All edible!

This was made for a Stella & Dot trunk show.
Pink lemonade cake with buttercream, covered in teal fondant. The pattern was piped on with royal icing and pearlized with super pearl luster dust and lemon extract.
The name plaque on top was hand painted.
