Im gonna upload my two newest pullip photos there, so they will be deleted

so if anyone's noticed, im quite a bit past my 200 limit. i really want to keep my photos here on display and i really dont want to delete anything, even my oldest ones. i occasionally still get favorites and comments on those old ones, and i like to read what people said on my old photos:)

and since i can't get a pro account, im forced to make a new account.

* if word doesnt get around fast enough, i'll be adding users to the people in this photo so they can see this. im really concerned about getting all my contacts back which will probably be impossible :\ so i hope people care enough to add me haha xD

soooo the theme was fashion police and fashion victim! hopefully you can probably tell which is which.. xD
i think the photo turned out great! lydia was awesome to work with and the photos fit together perfectly! we both decided that we didn't want to actually edit someone in, so we both made corresponding photos and i just placed them together! :)

this is a night club, and the fashion police came in to see some crazy chick xD
it was obvious that the editor had more work to do, but i honestly don't mind! i think we both put a lot of thought into this photo and i hope it shows! i hope the photo doenst look over edited! xD

* note to lydia: I did intensify her eye makeup to make her look more fierce :) and don't forget to save this and upload to your account! i had your username added there!

to be honest, im not that confident in this photo. im afraid her pose may not be couture enough for this challenge, but i did try my best and this is what happened!
there's a certain beautiful awkwardness in devin, maybe something to do with her nerdiness xD i wanted to embrace her lack of confidence in a pose that makes her look kind of vulnerable.

i really wanted to do something a little different, instead of the usual hand on hip and flowing hair, because that's not devin's personality. i dont wanna photograph her pretending to be someone, i wanted to photograph her as.. her :)

BNTM Episode 6 - Run(a)way Models

hello ladies, and welcome to judging. and then there were 10… xD
today we have a special treat, we will have TWO guest judges! i think it is important to get many peoples’ opinions on your photos before I decide who goes. sometimes i see photos i like, but others not so much, or vise versa. i want to give everyone a fair shot as possible and this is how i can attempt that. i hope this will benefit you and your photos! :)
your theme this episode was REFLECTIONS. let’s review the requirements for reference.
requirements:
-the obvious, have a reflection. use a mirror or anything reflective.
-make sure the reflection does show in the photo.
-i don’t want to see messy backgrounds in the reflection. i know mirrors are typically in bathroom and such, so there would be things around and maybe a hand holding a camera in the photo, but try your best to clear it out, or edit it out.
with that being said, let’s get started!

1- oh my.. this is incredible! it almost looks like you’re falling through the looking glass or something! she looks amazingly fierce, this photo is perfection to me!i see what you were going for with the mask, but i think it makes your eye shape look contorted a bit, but that’s the only thing i can pull from this photo! great job!
2- This is AMAZING! There's a mystery to me in your photo, and I like it ;D
3- We love this photo! The mask, the outfit, the scenery everything. But, you let us down in joint editing, because we know you can do better than that. Other than that, keep up the good work.

1- I like this photo, Mae! its so creative and different from what ive seen so far. this really goes to show that models aren’t perfect, even though they are marked to be. mae looks so humble and modest in this photo and it definitely shows. i do think her hand pose is a little awkward, but that works in this photo. it’s a little plain overall when looking at it, but i love the concept!
2- I like how you decided to get a little creative, but the camera's flash in your eyes kind of ruins your photo for me :/
3- We like the idea of the picture, but it doesn't look like it came to life. This photo is a little bit boring, to us.The pose doesn't 'wow' us, but it's an okay pose. All in all, you could have done better.

1- Amber, this is incredible! the set is amazing, and you look SO beautiful naturally here! i wish i had seen your face look like this last episode. i love your eye contact with the camera, you are really connecting here! nailed it!
2- Amazing! I love how you actually broke a mirror :)
3- This picture is amazing. We love her dress, and her pose is fantastic. The glass on the ground is genius, but we would have gone with a more fierce facial expression to make the photo seem more interesting. Other than that, great job.

1- I like this photo of you, you look beautiful, but what i don’t like is that i really cant tell which one is the reflection and which is the real you. this is an okay photo, but i know you could have done better. i do like your pose and how it looks on the left side, but in the right, it looks a little awkward. the challenge with mirrors is that you have to look good at each angle, and beware of that next time.
2- I like your picture, but I think you could have been a little more creative :)
3- You did a good job this week. The pose is great and the scenery is simple yet great for this photo. The dress is great, but it looks unflattering on her, and, we don't know if you edited her reflection or not, but one of her eyes is really smaller than the other, and that is making us crazy, because of my OCD, but good job.

1- Ragna, NOW i don’t regret keeping you in this competition two episodes ago! you have an incredible spark in all your photos.. even though youre not looking into the camera, there is definitely a strong connection here. i love how you’re posed here and the water is absolutely stunning on you. im impressed!

1- oh my gosh, Allison! this photo is.. flawless! i love how your reflection is a little blurred.. almost as if she doesn’t really know who she is other than a pretty girl. tell you what, i know who she is.. a MODEL! and an amazing one at that. this photo blows me away and i love the story behind it. like mae’s photo, it definitely shows that models aren’t really always the confident, perfect girls they look like on the outside!
2- This has to be one of the best pictures I have seen so far!! I loved the story behind your picture :D
3- This week, you guys did great. We love the story behind the picture, the worry in her eyes gives the picture that extra "pizzazz" (if you will) that the photo needed. The make up is wonder full, as well as the dress. Good job this week, keep it up!

1- …. this just blows my mind, althea! you look almost skeletal (your arm especially) in the reflection! you look AMAZING with that black veil! i did a little creeping on the comments and found that it wasn’t her black hair but a veil, haha! well whatever it was, it looks incredible on her! gives her such an edge that you don’t usually see in a blond girl! you’ve outdone yourself!
2- This has to be your best picture in this contest to me!! You look so good as a goth! :D
3- We love that you tried something that nobody else would think of, and it really paid off. Althea looks very evil, in a good way, and the black and white makes the photo one step above what it already was. You did great this week.

1- I can’t say im a fan of this photo..the alien of her isn’t so attractive, and i see what you were going for, but if you had made her lean against the mirror like a profile, and showed both halves of her face, one normal and one alien, i would have really liked this picture. i don’t see lauren in this shot. i see.. overedited alien (xD)
2- I wish I could has seen more of the you we see, instead of the alien.. The alien you isn't very pretty, and that kind of ruins the picture for me...
3- This picture is good. We like what you were going toward for your idea, and it paid off. The only thing we don't like is the quality of the her reflection.

1- Vivianne! wow! you look stunning here. i love the idea of a double personality! you look gorgeous from both angles and i love that! but just looking at the photo, im having to guess what her two personalities are. i’d say maybe dark and fierce, then girly and natural, but i wish it had been a little more obvious. i do love this photo though! such a step up from last episode!
2- I love your picture! You look so sweet!! :D
3- We love this picture. Its very colorful and draws our eyes to it. We like that she is laying down, and her pose is fantastic. Good job.

1- i like this closeup of you! and i like the story behind it! although, i am a bit confused. wouldn’t a truck driver look a little more roughed up? the only thing i see differentiated is the lack of eyeliner on the reflection. i wish you had done something more drastic. but i do like this photo!
2- I like your picture, but I think it could have been a lot better if you had done some posing with your hands and face, other then that you did good :)
3- This is your best picture in the competition so far! The feathers were genius, and she looks amazing in black and white. Good job.

Bottom 2:
Griezelda, gorgeous girl, gorgeous face that could sell sell sell. im not seeing creative in your photo. your past few photos have been in between to bottom. your photos don’t seem like they’re improving. i love your look, but a pretty girl in front of the camera doesn’t mean you’re a model. a pretty girl that delivers in front of a camera is a model. im not sure if i see that in you.
Lauren, unique look, stunning facial features, SO photogenic. what are you doing in the bottom? this week’s photo didn’t look modelesque at all..i like your story, but the way the photo was taken is unflattering and the judges and i didn’t like it. your photo last episode was an okay photo. you’ve had gorgeous photos in the past, but it seems like youre dropping downwards.
so who stays? Griezelda, who has done better than lauren this week,but is not rising in this competition.. actually is slowly de-proving? or lauren, whose photos are okay, but never wowing the judges?
this has been a really hard decision. i thought about this every night and i still can’t make up my mind.
ive decided to give you both another chance. maybe this was one slip up and there are still great things to come?
this theme, there will be two eliminations. so everyone be on your toes and wow the judges and i! :)

your next theme is “Run(a)way Models”.
requirements:
-have your model styled as if she just stepped off the runway
-must be an action shot of some sort
-your model has had to run off of the runway during a fashion show for some reason. it is your choice if you want to simply do the photo or come up with a story that goes with it.
-i want to see atleast more than half of your body in this shot. im not gonna make you do full body, but if you want to that’s awesome!
- you can blur parts of your image, but i dont want an overall blurry photo!

it felt like just yesterday i got ciara for christmas and decided to enter her in a BNTM, aha. she's grown to be one of my favorite dolls to photograph, despite her hard-to-work-with hair xD
she's now a sucessful supermodel, signed to tyler couture:) she also has a new best friend named alana :D

heyy! welcome to judging for your fresh faced beauty shots :)
before we get started i want to congratulate Allison, who won the challenge this week, and all participants of the challenge, who all get a little prize :)
this week im honored to present to you our new judge, rainbowdoll489! :D both she and i will give you your critique on your photo! hers will be listed under “R” and mine will be “VD”
so let’s start!

Amber
R - When I look at the photo it doesn't show me "Fresh", your facial expression looks a bit awkward to me. But what I do love about the photo is the relection and the ripple with it.
VD- I do love this photo, she looks beautiful and i love the ripple in your reflection! it’s not as natural as i would have wanted, i couldn’t really recognize her at first with that dark skin, but this photo is very well done and i love the concept!

Ragna
R - You look tired and sleepy in this photo, maybe some emotion will work. The photo too looks like you're taking a photo of yourself taking a shower..
VD- I like this photo of Ragna! her face is so beautiful to me. i wish you had done something a little more out of the ordinary though.

Lauren
R - I don't really know what to say.. To me it justs looks like a pretty girl laying down in water that's coming down. Maybe you could've been more creative.
VD – Lauren looks very pretty here, and the water is stunning on her. But as I said for Ragna, this really isn’t anything special about this photo.

Althea
R - I love the idea of it being an ad, but if you're going to edit the joints, try to edit them all. I love how there's an expression in your face! So simple, yet amazing!
VD – I really like how you decided to do this theme. she is so flawless here, id definitely buy that product aha! you really do look fresh and beautiful here. you nailed it!

Isabella
R- I love the photo! So simple, where ever it is you are looking to, it tells us a story. Your hand position looks a bit awkward, maybe if it looked a bit more natural the photo could've been better.
VD – Im not a big fan of the pose here but Isabella looks gorgeous! i wish she could have interacted more with the water, but it technically incorporates it so im not going to dwell on that. overall, this picture is flawless!

Griezelda
R- Like I said to Lauren, you just look like a pretty girl in front of the camera. Your head position looks a bit awkward here, maybe if it was more natural looking, it would've worked alot better.
VD – I can’t say I like this photo. your head looks so awkward tilted back that far. but i do like the concept, its just that the strange head position ruins this photo.

Allison
R - I understand you were trying to be creative, but you don't look like a plant to me, much rather of a Zombie. The rest of the editing that the skin is amazing! The editing of the bottom eyelashes look very fake. Maybe if the green skin color was gone, the photo could've looked like-able.
VD – this is kind of a disappointment, Allison. this is very creative but it doesn’t work with the theme. you can retaliate saying the requirement ‘natural’ could mean nature natural, but i don’t see plant in this photo.

Tiffany
R - This photo is dissapointing, I can't see your face, and nothing here shows "Fresh Faced Beauty". If we could've seen some more of your face maybe the photo could've been better.
VD – I actually like this photo. you looks very beautiful. but the same problem as some of the other girls, theres nothing really memorable about this photo, just a pretty girl in the water.

Nikole
R - The pose looks very awkward and stiff to me. But your hair! It looks amazing on you! To me it looks like there isn't enough water, just a few spots.. :\
VD – wow, you look stunning in this photo! the hair is incredible on you haha! but i don’t like how your hair hides your other leg. if you cover some, you should cover all so it doesn’t look awkward.

Mae
R- This shot is very dissapointing, it looks like there isn't even any water in the photo. Plus, what's up with the hat being there? It just looks very random to me. The photo looks rushed and like you only used very little time to work on the photo.
VD – I think you look like a cold girl on a rainy day. but, in a good way. but i cn’t see water in this photo! you say there is water in her hair, and i believe you, but i wouldn’t have guessed that there was any by just looking at it.

R- WOW! This photo looks amazing! But I wish there could've of been a pose to the photo.. But this photo is just simply amazing to me!
VD – taylor, im speechless! everything here is perfect!

R- This photo doesn't read "Fresh Faced Beauty" to me. It's like there isn't even any water incorpperated to the photo. The photo kind of dissapoints.
VD – I don’t know what to say about this photo. it’s hard to see the water (i know it’s there) its very unnoticeable. wheres the vivianne i saw in your trapped photo? maybe next time you should try to tackle the theme photos instead of getting it in rushed before the deadline, so you have time to redo.

mae, i fell in love with your unique look when you auditioned. your photos aren’t bad at all, but they tend to stay in the middle or bottom of the group. you had a high point in the elegancy theme, but in this one the judge and i were disappointed. im wondering if you got lucky with the elegancy shoot. maybe you’re improving but you hit a bump in the road. maybe not.
tiffany, you’re so beautiful and your photos are okay. but the thing is, okay doesn’t cut it. we weren’t so impressed with your photo this week.
vivianne, you started off so strong in this competition, but i always get the vibe that you’re not putting your all into these recent photos. i start to think that you don’t really want this as much as the other girls.

i don’t know what happened, maybe it’s because you’re starting on the themes too late and not putting in 100% into the photos. you have so much potential, but lately, it’s not showing. im giving you another chance because i think you’re capable of going far.
