This is a simple dish I like to make for lunch. It’s both great tasting and healthy! &lt;br /&gt;
Baked aubergine, tomato, provolone and fresh basil stacks, and freshly made, lemony humus served with mini pitas and sweet orange pepper strips for dipping. I like serving the humus with a little pool of extra virgin olive oil in the middle. &lt;i&gt;The secret of the flavourful aubergine is the preparation :-) &lt;/i&gt;&lt;/p&gt;</description>

&lt;p&gt;City workers grab a quick lunch bite in Leadenhall market. This is very British tradition, and anyone from shoe shine boys to local businessmen to City traders and lawyers can be found queuing at a stand such as this to grab a sandwitch or takeaway lunch to eat on the run or at their desk. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
These food stalls set up their stands early every day from Monday to Friday, and do brisk business until early afternoon. Their food can be surprisingly good! I decided to try some steamed dumplings and a skewer of spicy prawns from this stall and enjoyed the dumplings, although in this case the prawns were cold and a little dry. The curries smelled delicious but I had just sampled several pastries from the &lt;i&gt;Comptoir Gourmand !&lt;/i&gt; (see below).&lt;/p&gt;</description>
