The Carnival of Rijeka is listed among the "Top 500 European events" and this year was amazing! These photos have been taken at the main event in Rijeka as well as in Lovran, Croatia.

Alcatraz

Alcatraz Island (sometimes referred to as simply Alcatraz or The Rock) is a small island located in the middle of San Francisco Bay in California. It served as a lighthouse, then a military fortification, then a military prison followed by a federal prison until 1963.

I visited Alcatraz in April 2008 and this short video is a compilation of some of the photos I took. The place is truly amazing.
