( N.B. The sky really was that colour, very minimal lightroom trickery involved! The fisherman survived the clone tool, not sure if he actually made it down Pulpit rock, as it was dark when we left and he was still up there.)

As I was only here for one night decided I would try to get a sunrise at Lake Rotorua, after an early morning hike from the hotel I realised my tripod was back in the room. With two sleeping children and a grumpy wife I dared not return to collect, so did the best I could with what was available to rest on. This is a roundabout way of saying I think the composition could have been better, also to compliment the lack of support both batteries were gasping for life and decided to die after about 10 snaps, so went back for breakfast.

The lone Willow tree that sits in Lake Wanaka - New Zealand. I had visited the night before for sunset, however wanted to return for this sunrise shot as the light just started to dust the tops of the snow peaked mountains.
