She could not understand why someone would want flowers that looked dead as soon as they bloomed. I explained that I have always loved them because my mother has always had them and they remind me of beautiful ballerinas. my friend now loves them too!<br /> This is my original charcoal drawing of beautiful butterflies sipping nectar from tall-standing coneflowers in my mother's garden.
