These were in an arrangement with white spider mums and evergreen boughs at the grocery store. Very pretty if not strictly traditional Christmas colors.

One of the neighbor's erected this yesterday, presumably in time for the neighborhood Halloween party this afternoon. I really have no explanation for it, but as you can see it must have been quite a bit of work to put it together. Better viewed large.

You gotta love the Halloween baked goods at my grocery store. Here's a double layer, six inch cake that looks like a cute Frankenstein head!
They also had the bride of Frankenstein cake that I posted last Halloween.

Here's the whole house where the decapitated bride is. The neighbor recently added a canon under the window where the witch is stirring her brew and covered the pale green siding above the brick with fake stone. I do believe he's gone off the deep end this year!

A couple of my neighbors go all out with their Halloween decorations! If you look closely there is a wrapped body in the midst of the spider's web under the tree. There's also a ghoul hanging about the garage door to the left. View large for more detail.

I went to my friend's house and helped her two little girls make valentines. This kid is (almost) four and very into drawing. After her dad helped her write "daddy" and "mommy" she drew a spider with about 15 legs. Why? It's hard to say, but mom will love it! That's Dad in the background trying to get her hair into a ponytail.
