I'M SUPER STOKED ABOUT THESE WEDDING PHOTOS, I WAS THINKING ABOUT A SERIES BUT I THINK ILL WAIT ON THAT... THIS WAS COOL BEFORE I EVEN GOT ON I HAVE A COMMENT! HOPE YOUR WEEKS ARE ALL GOING WELL. I think that is the name of this cave.... well anyway while I was MIA I took a visit to spectacular Kings Canyon Ca, spent a day driving around taking pics and meeting ppl, all in all fun trip could have used some clouds beings the light was so harsh but still you do with what you got. this photo has gone through noise reduction and I cloned out an eletrical wire, look for it if you find it put a note where it was. This was taken with ISO 6400 I think so not as horrible as i would have thought.

Also if anyone has any past exp or info for some good/hidden gems in Redding CA, if you could share that would be cool.

Hmmm not to sure about the beard ones... but this is an absolute horrable shot, i am still very much working on ppl. until then.... I suck!

This last week i was at a camp about an hour from yosemite so i decided to take the opportunity to go and visit, the weather was great, and this is the time they expected the falls to peak for the year so i was glad all the neat little elements fell together, all that was left was for me to properly capture the moment at just the right angle and time to make an absolutely amazing photo =/ I failed.

This is a four shot panorama btw

Yeah I know its horrible!

ok, this was a post a run, so the story behind this.
for a few week I was wanting to climb one of the many tall hills we have east of the central valley, I finally got around to it, ii went out looking for a dominant peak that would give me the best view of the valley floor, after driving to Sanger I decide id better pick one and start up it before it got to late, so having chose one I began what I though would be a fairly easy climb, I was wrong, if any of you have ever tried this you know what I am talking about, and no I didn’t pick one of the small ones I got the biggest one I could find, it took about an hour to get to the top with many little increments of 20 steps, ( I don't want to be sounding lazy and fat and out of shape because that is so not me I am very fit) but this was pretty hard, but none the less I was on the top for about a good two hours enjoying the sunset, I also got a few good shots of the city lights after it got dark, pretty cool stuff.
Oh P.S. In the dark having a cow ten feet uphill from you coming down is very scary.

This is a barn at casa de fruta,
i was on a little trip to san jose because my grandma's sister fell and broke her arm, well more or less shattered it, i drove my grandma up there because she didnt want to, well she couldn't. Long story shot we spent three days up there, her sister went through surgery all is well now just need some time to heal.

This is my first attempt with smoke, i used a little incense stick, but i was in need of a stronger flashlight, i dont have a flash yet, which leads me to a q for whoever views this, OH and akso i couldnt decide whic one of my better shots to upload so i did
inny-minny-miney-mo, so this is the one i uploaded, now to the Q
q: What should i invest in first a nikon sb600, or a set of spacers?
Spacers give a more magnified view of the subject, thus makinga macro a super awesome close up macro, and it can turn my 50mm to a 200mm or close to it.

This is my eye, lots of contrast added nothing else, i guess the contrast brought out the color, but the saturation wasn't tweaked.

This is a photo from the little trip I took yesterday to Carrizo plain, it’s a National Park mostly untouched grasslands. It took a bit to find it... P.S. I knew G.P.S. wouldn’t work so I tried google maps, basically the same thing, right? Well it gave all the right directions but not right measurements, it said 3.7 miles make a right on the 58, it was actually 19.6 miles, so I got a bit freaked out that I would never find it, but I did. To bad tho, I was a week or so late, there was lots of flowers in some spots but not as vibrant and colorful, they all were dying off, but I still got in some good photos, since I was kinda out of luck with awesome color filled scenic I went for some of the old tractors, farm equipment, barns, and the rocks. I now have some more great experience under my belt, don’t have a clue if that makes me better, I sure hope it does.
