Figured this was kinda sorta next door to mustard.

My son's high school rock band performed a few weeks ago. The eyeliner was one of those "I will if you will" kind of things. The boys were wearing more than any of the three girls in the band!

The greed prompt clicked right away. This child is greedy for everything, always wanting more, more, more. Everything she feels strongly about becomes a "right now" kind of thing. I will be so happy when this phase is over! And I'll be even more happy when she can start throwing stuff away instead of saving EVERYTHING.

Our girl's trip was such a huge great time last weekend, we have vowed to try and get away twice a year from now on. We've been friends anywhere from 12 to 40 years (two started grade school together) and were so comfortable with each other it was really, really relaxing. Best thing about vacationing with ladies? We ALL cook and clean, not just the Mom!

There aren't any photos of the group, because by the time we thought about photos, we didn't feel like doing hair or putting on makeup - or bras.

Lain said the word "ocean" and this photo popped into my head and wouldn't leave. From our spring break trip to the Keys. I wanted to roll around in that color and become one with it. Breathtaking....which probably should have been the title now that I think about it.

Figured any journaling that involves a new teen should probably be hidden, especially if it might get a little mushy. This was just wants to be 18 already. Yikes.

I had a weak moment at Archiver's despite my vow to buy no new stuff this month. Little wooden bird and flower accents from Prima. Cute!

I am so far behind, I'll never do all the prompts, so combined these two days. After 6 or 8 LOAD's, there aren't many things I haven't done on a scrapbook page, but I managed two new things here. Colorized the photo with Neocolor II crayons (house is not really quite that green), and used NO adhesive. Which is my excuse for why everything on the page is wonky. The giant heart is the paper cover over my box of Valentine chocolates.

I knew exactly what to do with this prompt! I frequented this club back in the day, can hardly believe it's still around. I truly spent three months trying to talk all my rocker-type friends into taking Helen to this concert. It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be, but I felt like a total cougar watching these very young men in their very tight leather pants....

One perk to kids getting older is no more kid cars! I worked in international insurance a long time ago and had a contact in Germany named Gunter. My boss said he was uber cool. Black leather, BMW, sunglasses. Seemed the logical name when we bought a German car. The bat is for the Batman tag I am looking for to put on the front.

My grandmother spoiled me terribly. I still have a touch of a Princess complex. She was a total girlie girl and loved pink and frills to the end.

So happy for this prompt today! These photos are in the same file as the one yesterday, and I almost used them yesterday. Pulled everything but the doilies and kraft paper from the only kit in my stash, old Scarlet Lime, I believe. Never buy kits because my room is overflowing already. Sadly, I have no talent for pulling them together from the product on hand. If I can ever use up all this stuff, I will buy only kits from that point on, because it is so much easier and faster to get a layout to look nice!

This was one of those days where I found the perfect photo, but not one of the 5000 pieces of paper I own worked with it! Finally just sprayed some mist and called it done. Really enjoyed looking at the progression of my garden last year. By the time we finish LOAD it will be time to start working on this year.

In the actual photo, you can see the veining in the bee's wings. I love discovering those shots.

Didn't want the boy to feel left out after scrapping about Dad and little dog brother yesterday. Couldn't really think of a layout I NEED to scrap. LOAD pretty much takes care of those! This was definitely a transition I wanted to capture. Such a sigh of relief when that hair was finally gone!

I left a bit of the backdrop (I use two blank canvases to pose my layouts) and really like it. May have to go back and cut down the black paper and add a lighter mat. Two sheets of that Bo Bunny paper gone!

Too hard to decide which of these guys I'd scrap today. DH doesn't get too many layouts. These shots of the dog were actually an excuse to get some shots of the Hubs when he wasn't acting silly for the camera. I do love that little dog, though...

My goal to use up hoarded scrap supplies is going great. Really enjoying digging into forgotten stash. I could realistically do years of LOAD without buying anything new. The gym goal, not so great, but the year is young.

Most neglected in my house is me! Put my dreams on hold for so long, but now that the kids are older, it's time to dust them off. Found a use for this rub-on I've had for years. Using up lots of hoarded stash already in just three days. Journaling will be on back or separate page, as soon as I can get it to sound a little less whiny.
