There are days when I strive to take the best photo I can... and then there are days when I take a ton, not really being in love with any of them, but staring at a photo or two for what seems an hour and wondering about it. When I look at photos, I am always trying to find the focused point (unintentionally but I do do it, as we all do with photos- trying to find that one piece that makes the photo relatable), but I don't often wonder how I'd feel if a photo had no focus points. Does that mean its a bad photo? Or that I've taken a dud? And then I notice the shapes, the lines, the colors, and its not about the focal point anymore, its about the bigger picture and what that adds up to. Like what does this photo mean to me? Does it hold a special memory? Was it at a certain time in my life? Or a certain time of day?

Being different isn't always bad; its even nice to switch things up. I took this while walking at twilight under some blooming trees hand in hand with my sweetie. Can't get any better than that right?

Monday was just perfect! I had no idea it would be such wonderful weather! Waking up to blue skies and sunshine is such a treat! After so many days of cold and raining and going back to it, the sun and warmth were quite welcome.

In the spring
I wonder
trying to imagine what it would be like,
to be a bird or a bee
floating
floating among the pink blossoms
lost in briskness of wind
rolling like waves in the sea
fluttering and dancing
collecting pollen
intoxicated by the sweetening of atmosphere
lost in pink.*

*My attempt at a poem... hehe.

When the blossoms begin to fall and I'm lucky enough to be standing under a shedding tree, the petals falling around me, like pink snow, I feel so at peace and I begin to think thats what it would be like, to be a bird or a bee among such a pretty scene. :)

Its been gray and dark and cold and really really windy here. (Am I complaining? Yes. I. AM.)
The wind caught my umbrella tonight and I almost went flying off into the clouds... or rather the umbrella almost went right into someone's car dashboard.

But I have hope that this will pass and that sunshine, pink blossoms, and skirts (lots of skirts) are on the horizon. :))

*As a side note, I've been so busy with hwk, (2 weeks to finals), it has been insane, I'm hoping for some time tomorrow to visit everyone's streams and get caught up, so please forgive me.
