i am staying with the sky theme today

i am trying to improve my shots i know this is not the best shot with all the wires and the street lamps etc but it is the best rainbow i have ever got a photo off so far so i am a bit thrilled with it .

i wish it was in a field of flowers or somewhere else but you just got to take the shot when you get the chance . i waited ages to see if the other rainbow would shine so bright but it didnt get any brighter than this

this rainbow lit up the whole place, i was in the middle of the road in arklow a busy town getting this shot hahahah i knew i would stop traffic some day lol

there are rainbows everywhere at the moment i sure do think they are magical i took load of shots over the last few weeks but none shone like this one did . it was such a dark day and lashing rain it was a real joy to see this .

i love this view very much could have stayed here all day it was such a lovely day. this is my all time favourite view of the hills of wicklow ireland i love love love love this place.
this is best viewed large it has so so much in this view

found this cactus almost by accident . i have never seen one of these before . i thought it was fantastic in colour and its shape and design and the top bit sprouting . if anyone knows what this is i would be delighted to find out . sure dont get to see cactus in Ireland thats for sure unless you have a hot house lol .

i love nature and when i saw this i was stopped in my tracks i thought it was so so beautiful . havent a clue what it is called but i dont care i dont need to know i just need to appreciated the gift of having the pleasure of seeing it . i think the colours and designs of the leaf are just so beautiful and artistic i think the art in nature is second to none i love it so much

for the tell me more group,
this will be an easy story i did this for no reason at all except that i felt like it . it started out as a stone i photographed in paris last year that was abandoned in the back of a hotel. i did this just to see what happened and i tried to get as much colour and flow into it as i could and the illusion of speed. i havent got a clue what it is . and when it turned out like this i said yes this will do and just pressed save. sometimes you just have to go with the flow and i felt like that today and i also wanted to start my weekend off with lots of colour and brightness . makes me happy just to see nice colours . so there you go what you make of it is totally up to you , this is what it started out as and you can see how it ended up haha . one of my all time loves is rocks of all kinds and i have a collection of crystals and stones of many types so i am always attracted to anything stone .

This is just a thank you to all my contacts for all the lovely comments advice and encouragement you have given me. i will be off flickr for a long time but hope to be back sometime in the future . thank you all so much i have enjoyed flickr with you very much. your photos have inspried me so much and i appreciate all the help you have given me to improve and learn here on flickr. i was very lucky indeed with the fantastic contacts that i have made here on flickr and i appreciate each one of you very much .

i have had such a great time here learning and having a good laugh also doing it i have seen some art that i would never have seen in my life if it were not for flickr and all your great talents . thank you all so very much.
i wish you one and all a very happy and creative summer
