Got to process this shot this afternoon. I just visualised a heavily processed shot while the car and model still looked natural and I think it turned out exactly how I wanted it to be.

First experience with shooting a car with a model together, what do you think?
Please tell me what you think if you fave it.

Shot inside of the biggest bullfighting arena of Europe, el plaza de toros Las Ventas, in the centre of the capital of Spain, Madrid.

The model is Vanesa Garcia, from IDI Models.

This easily is the best location I ever had the opportunity to shoot at!

RE-EDIT

The orange bull inside of the biggest bullfighting arena of Europe, el plaza de toros Las Ventas, in the centre of the capital of Spain, Madrid.

I let Sergio Marin, an experienced torero, do his thing with the SV acting as bull.

The scene is inspired by the name of the car:
In a continuation of Lamborghini's tradition of giving its cars names from the world of bullfighting, the Murciélago was named for a fighting bull that survived 28 sword strokes in an 1879 fight against Rafael "El Lagartijo" Molina Sanchez, at the Coso de los califas bullring in Córdoba, Spain.
Murciélago fought with such passion and spirit that the matador chose to spare its life, a rare honor.
The bull, which came from Joaquin del Val di Navarra's farm, was later presented as a gift to Don Antonio Miura, a noted local breeder; thus began the famed Miura line of fighting bulls, which provided the name for one of Lamborghini's first great cars.

I found this shot among the almost 5000 photo's I've shot of this car now and somehow I just loved the backlight and corresponding shadow at the front of the car!

What do you think?

I've shot the photo's for the roadtest of autoblog last July in Spain.
Normally they shoot their own photo's but for this occassion, I got the job.

A quick shot of this car, taken in May 2011, when she got fixed up before she entered the 2011 Gumball 3000 Rally.

We picked up the car and took her for a spin, she was returned first thing on monday so the mechanics could get back at her.

Another never published shot of my first shoot with this car. This shot is taken at the carport of the private garage of an appartmentbuilding in the centre of Madrid.

I'm leaving tomorrow morning quite early for a new photoshoot, getting pretty excited and I hope I'll get lucky with the weather.

Autoblog Roadtest photoshoot Lamborghini Murciélago LP670-4 SV, July 2011

I've shot the photo's for the roadtest of autoblog last July in Spain.
Normally they shoot their own photo's but for this occassion, I got the job.

I flew to Spain with the guys and I helped with the video-shoot by holding people back and driving the second car, the Audi S5.

I was taking shots of the car while the cameraman was filming, so I had to catch the car on photo while it passed at very high speeds. It was quite difficult but the sound was just stunning!
I kind of got a 'Top Gear-ish' feeling by this shot, what do you think?
