This tree is HUGE. I initially wanted to do some artsy stuff with it, but the model would only have reached to the lowest branch on the trunk... this was at 50mm, I think I need to break out the 24mm :)

So more twiddling with the 3D rig. This time a complete software re-write... ok, more than a twiddle I suppose, but, A process that previously took just under a minute, can now take 2.25 seconds.... although that's dependant on having 2.5KW of continuous lighting to hand.

LED lights are all very well and good for safety and all that, but you can't beat a real bulb for it's dimming light trail ability. This incidentally, is straight out of the camera. I was pretty amazed.
