Anyways, life's been incredibly busy.

We are planning for the wedding, buying a house, raising a dog, working, etc etc.

I wanted to put something up today because I miss this community. I will be coming back more and more.

I've been gone for a while!

I'm happy to be back. Lots of news to share!

I recently went to Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. I've never been to a maritime province before but I quite enjoyed it.

My girlfriend and I went out and had an amazing time. We ate a lot of food, drank a lot of beer, and had an overall enjoyable experience.

The customer service we received at every establishment (hotel, bar, restaurant, pubs, etc) was perfect. Such a friendly place!

Peggy's cove was the highlight of my trip. I've never seen the ocean before and my breath literally escaped me. I didn't know what to say.

We spent the day exploring little fishing villages on our way to this famous lighthouse. I'll be posting a lot of photos from this trip!

When we arrived, we ate at the local restaurant by the lighthouse. It was the first time that I had a full lobster! I had to take it apart myself...quite the experience...but it set me up well for the next night when I had two more on my own!

After this, we went to the lighthouse for the sunset where I proceeded to take more photos. My girlfriend was a little freaked out because I was being "risque." There were signs all over the place saying to stay off the black rocks because the water could come up at any time and sweep you away. Danger! Death! Etc...Lots of very specific signs.

Challenge accepted.

I spent most of my time on those rocks because I needed to capture something that not everyone could get.

After the sunset, we found a bench that faced the ocean...after trying to get Iram's attention...I finally proposed!!

She said OMG YES! and we are now engaged to be married!

Definitely an amazing trip that I will never forget!

Ok, so a little explanation on my disappearance.

I started the 365 project as way to further push my creativity within my photography. At first, this was fantastic. Problem was, after a while...it got difficult to keep up with work and other commitments I had. I found myself trying to snap a photo of anything to just throw up here.

To me, that wasn't staying true to why I started this project in the first place.

After a lot of contemplation, I decided that I was no longer going to stress about putting something up that wasn't going to be something I'm proud of.

I've decided that I'm going to post pictures that I'm happy to post.

That might still be everyday, but it might be every couple of days, or it might be every week.

I appreciate all the messages that I received where people were explaining how they missed seeing the project get updated. That actually meant a lot to me.

Life has been really great lately! Just celebrated a one year anniversary with the love of my life. I've never met anyone like her and I'm extremely happy to have her in my life. We had a romantic weekend and will finish it off on Tuesday by going to Game 6 of the Canadiens VS Bruins game in Montreal.

Hey everyone, I've had a lot of requests to see the ink on my arm.

Here we go. Got more work done this past Monday, you can see the scabbing now (especially zoomed in). Should be totally clean by Tuesday or so. Couple more sessions to go.

Anyways, I was in cleaning mode in my house, decided to take this picture, cuz that's what I do for fun on Saturday's :)

This is the park across from work.

In the summer it's quite gorgeous.

But in the bushes beside the park...sometimes you'll see rats! Nasty.

Haven't seen one since last year though...perhaps there's a plan in place...besides winter.

I'm tired.

This weekend has been full of activities and tomorrow marks one solid week of healthy eating and gym crushing.

Tonight is relaxing with my lovely girlfriend Iram, watching some TV, eating dinner together, and maybe a smooch or two ;)

I took this picture today as I walked from the gym to meet my buddy for a movie. They completely rebuilt this park over the last many months and it's too bad somebody has already caused damage to it.

Meanwhile, the movie "SuckerPunch"...amazing visuals, kinda cheesy story. Good action though, really good action.
