Well...not really. 1-2, and the rest of the formation pass in front of the tower at Buckley AFB. This particular aircraft has just recently come out of modifications upgrading it to A+ standards, ensuring this airframe stays in the inventory for a long time to come.

The "Hookers" from B co/2-135 GSAB start to move off the flightline in order to head off to their deployment. The aircraft pictured here was transferred to the unit, from Minnesota, only about 60 days before the deployment began to help with training. This aircraft, as well as the rest of the unit's were transferred once the unit headed overseas.

Wolfman 1-5 picks up two "Gators" to use at Ft. Carson for the next for days. A co/2-135 GSAB was supporting several units of the Colorado Army National Guard during FTX'11.

External-Load training of Echo sod at Buckley AFB. The only reason the crew chief was calling the load from the back was so we could get a shot of him doing the "Tebow" to try and win tickets to the game.

Location: Butts Army Airfield, Ft. Carson, CO.
Unit: 1-12 INF, 4 ID

Soldiers wait their turn in the hot sun. The unit was doing "static" training of on-, and off-loading Blackhawk helicopters in preparation for an upcoming exercise the following week.

UH-60s from A/2-135 GSAB supported the static training and then supported this unit during their upcoming exercise. AH-64s and OH-58s also participated.

1-1 departs the LZ with a load of cadets during their field exercises. A/2-135 GSAB was supporting the US Air Force Academy with their cadet SERE (Survival Evasion Resistance Escape) training.
