After accepting the position to serve the community of Garnett, Kansas as the youth and children's pastor of the First Christian Church, Christopher Goetz was able to purchase a home with money from the U. S. Department of Agriculture, Rural Development loan guarantee program. The money from the submitting lender and originating lender has guaranteed many loans in Kansas with money available through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). Aug 2009

Businesses such as this gas station/convenience store in Cherryvale, Kansas are able to share a Rural Business Economic Grant, Revolving Loan Fund from the U. S. Department of Agriculture, Rural Development, Rural Business. The City of Cherryvale was able to acquire the loan to help start-up businesses and provide financial assistance to emerging small businesses within the city of Cherryvale. Funding for the loan will be allocated through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). Aug 2009
