It has been a real struggle to get some photos this weekend due to the horrendous weather conditions. It eased up here today and so I ducked to the beach to get some photos of the old favourite, the SS Dicky wreck. I thought with the sea foam around it would make a unique shot of a well known landmark.
Polarising filter and 3 stop ND filter to get some movement in the foam and water.

Trees by themselves or small groups interest me for a couple of reasons - one, they make great subjects, and two - apparently trees naturally don't grow by themselves, they are usually in groups.

Hi everyone, sorry I didn't put a description up sooner - was in a bit of a rush!
It's a Canon EOS60D, i use a SPL Waterhousing and Port for a Sigma 10mm fisheye to keep the camera and lens dry. Then it is just a matter of patience in the surf to get the right shot!

If you look at the mountain you will see Chinggis Khan (us Westerners know him as Genghis Khan) carved into a mountain just outside of Ulanbator in Mongolia.
Genghis Khan (1162 – August 1227), born Temujin, was the founder and Great Khan (emperor) of the Mongol Empire, which became the largest contiguous empire in history after his demise.

a common landscape shot here on the Sunshine Coast is the wreck of the SS Dicky, which washed ashore in 1893 during heavy seas.
Here is my version of it.
