Bronze 'Returning to Embrace' by Jon Buck year 2000.

Jon Buck’s arresting large scale bronze seems to represent
a couple locked together, gazing lovingly into each others’
eyes. Closer examination reveals a strange fusion of their
forms, with their bodies so far intertwined as to have become
a single organism. This piece came to Canary Wharf as part
of the exhibition Shape of the Century. Even whilst studying
at Manchester Art School Buck worked against the
mainstream and pursued his own interests, his work came to
centre itself on the making process. His figures do not only
represent men and women, but also ‘Man and Nature’.

Tower Bridge (built 1886–1894) is a combined bascule and suspension bridge in London, over the River Thames. It is close to the Tower of London, from which it takes its name.

The bridge consists of two towers tied together at the upper level by means of two horizontal walkways, designed to withstand the horizontal forces exerted by the suspended sections of the bridge on the landward sides of the towers. The vertical component of the forces in the suspended sections and the vertical reactions of the two walkways are carried by the two robust towers. The bascule pivots and operating machinery are housed in the base of each tower. The bridge's present colour scheme dates from 1977, when it was painted red, white and blue for the Queen Elizabeth II's silver jubilee. Originally it was painted a mid greenish-blue colour

Many people dont like this man and also tell me, to them i say: keep believing in Adam Eva (the bible writes about Eva be born out of Adams rib..Imagine.) the snake the apple and other not scientific nonsence. Because of him and other scientist we know now that the earth is much older than the bible tell us. Yess it is curieus that he is buried in a church.

Charles Robert Darwin was born February 12, 1809, in Shrewsbury, England. After a remarkable and productive life, he died on April 19, 1882, in Downe, England. The cause of his death is not clear. Some sources claim it was due to a heart attack, while others cite an illness (possibly Chagas disease) contracted during his travels to South America.
Upon his death, Darwin's family arranged for him to be buried in St. Mary's churchyard in the village of Downe. However, William Spottiswoode, the President of the Royal Society (an elite scientific body in London), had greater aspirations for Darwin. He wrote to the Dean of Westminster Abbey requesting that Darwin be buried in its prestigious cemetery.

A self-professed agnostic, Darwin wrote the following on the topic of creationism:

I feel most deeply that the whole subject is too profound for human intellect. A dog might as well speculate on the mind of Newton. Let each man hope and believe what he can.
Despite Darwin's controversial work, the Dean of Westminster accepted Spottiswoode's request. After Darwin's family agreed to the interment, his body was sent to the Abbey for a service and burial.
Charles Darwin's grave bears a simple inscription with his name, birth date, and date of death. He keeps good company, however. He is buried close to two other famous scientists, Sir John Herschel and Sir Isaac Newton.
