Leicester Protographers Club - Temple

philipJvernon (www.philipJvernon.co.uk) posted a photo:

This week was meant to be an off camera flash week, with other members bringing in things that can be used as photographic subjects. I took along a rubik's cube and some playing cards.

I started off photographing the items that I had took, as I had a few ideas of the shots that I wanted to get beforehand. Then tried using some of the other item that had been brought along.

Nearer the end, a few of us had a go at trying to capture the cards springing/falling using a few different techniques, with varying degrees of success. It is a start, and something that I will try again, and next week is high speed flash photography, so I will probably have another go at something similar then.
