I watched this copter put out a fire as it started at the bottom of the hill near the freeway and then it swept up to the top. It was amazing to watch this copter. It made pass after pass as it relentlessly dumped water on the fire. Just wished I would have had my 200mm lens, but hey, I was heading to the driving range not out to shoot photos.

My daughter's puppy was taking a nap after a hard day of playing when I snapped this photo. I just love her adorable little nose. I think this pic would be better if I cropped off a little more of Belle's fluffy head.

I stood underneath this trumpet flower and shot up to the sunlight while at the Wild Animal Park. There weren't too many butterflies left in the exhibit so I took this pic of a flower :(

We had an Easter egg hunt for my daughter's Pom. He loved it. We filled some plastic eggs with dog treats, scattered them around one side of the yard and let him go at it. After he figured out that if he squeezed the eggs they'd pop open and he could get the doggie treat out, he quickly went around the yard hunting the eggs and popping them open. It was fun to watch him have a good time on Easter.

Wolf started howling when his 'momma' went to return a video at the local Red Box kiosk. He stood by the door until she returned. It was so sweet to see her pup waiting for her at the door.

I took this on a road that cuts through the mountains on the way out of Palm Springs. I took this from the viewpoint turnout where people stop to take one last look of this desert city. If you look towards the bottom center you can see the winding road leading up to this look out, then on the bottom left you see another darker part of the road where it begins to head up to the spot where I took this pic. Out in this area the sky can be so amazing and sometimes some crazy cloud formations take shape, although not in this picture.

Wolfie is going through the "uglies" as he sheds his puppy fur, but I still think he's cute. He's getting in a thick, fluffy coat of fur that makes him look chubby, lol.

It rained something horrible today, so while on the way back from Costco I took this picture through the windshield of the car with my iPhone. The setting sun coming through the little break in the clouds lit up a very small section of the sky giving it the effect of an explosion. Wish I would have had a better angle, as it was a very weird sight to see the tiny area lit up leaving the rest of the sky dark with clouds.
