After watching the Little Mermaid with my daughter I just want to sing "Les poissons, les poissons. How I love les poissons….." when looking at this image.

This was taken while I was teaching on of my photography courses. One of the tasks on the course is to shot a list of 66 things on 2 rolls on film in 4 hours. I lend every one on the course a Lomo LCA so it's a level planing field. I always take part as well so the people on the course can see what I can do with 72 exposures. This was for one of "Something Natural". The next courses are on the weekends of the 27th-28th April & 8th-9th June in Brighton.

Half pig carcass with kidneys

One of the things I learned documenting the butchers at Brampons is that when the pigs are delivered there kidneys are still attached on the inside.

Full Monty - Breakfast Club Hoxton

This is the full monty from the Breakfast Club Hoxton. I used to live a 14 minute walk from here when I lived in London. It was not there back in the early 2000s maybe if had been there I would of never of left. It was good breakfast, although the toast was a little to posh for it's own good and a bit rock hard. This was the full monty option, I did not even bother reading the other options on the menu would been a waste of time. Three bits of bacon what a result!

I was in London yesterday giving a talk at Photo Forum. I had a great time talking there and it was a great crowd. If you are London you need to check out Photo Forum because it will for fill all your free monthly photography talk needs.

Been give quite a few talks this year. This latest one was the 4th year. Because I have been doing quite a lot I have put my tips for making presentations into this blog post.

Pig delivery at a butchers

When I was shooting a few pictures at Bramptons Butchers of them preparing a pig delivery I learned a few things. Pigs are are delivered in halves, half of them halves still have heads attached and there kidneys are still attached on the inside. See more of my Bramptons Butchers pictures on my website.

This is an old pic from one of our frequent visits to the Scene Bees Cafe. It's the only way to go for a Brighton Full English.

I tend to shot / post most of my full English pictures on Instagram now, i'm @lomokev there to. But there are still loads of yummy Full English shots on Flickr to.

Great little moment, saw these two girl tucking into there sausage and took this sneaky snap. I like the the girl on the right is glancing at me as I took the shot.

Taken of a recent photo workshop I ran in Munich at the S 184 Gallery.

One of the tasks on the workshop is to shot a list of 66 things on 2 rolls on film in 3 hours, I always take part as well so the people on the course can see what I can do with 72 exposures. This was for one of "blind shot" (photo taken when not looking though the view finder), some of the other things on the list are not so literal. The next courses are on the weekend of 17th-18th Nov 2011 and the weekend of 9th-10th Feb 2013 in Brighton.

Sea Gull grabbing chips

I have discovered though my time in the park with my daughter is that Sea Gulls don't like to get to close to humans, not as close as some pidgins and squirrels do. But occasionally there are one of two gulls that are little more adventures, this one is clearly one of the gulls that will steal food out of tourists hands.

This is one of the photos from a shoot where I shot Brighton, pretty much none stop for 36 hours to produce this montage. The whole thing was filmed by a film crew for O2's YouTube channel. You can watch the film and read more about this on my blog here. You can see some of the other images I shot for the montage in this Flickr set.

On the subject of talking photos in Brighton why join m on one of my weekend photo courses? I got courses coming up in Brighton, Munich and maybe Leeds and Manchester.

took this pic while i was teaching one my hot shots photography courses. on the 1st day i always take my students to the seven bees cafe for a lunch time pit stop. if your ever in brighton you must check it out, it's in a alley between ship street and middle street.

yesterdays breakfast from the squires guest house, unfortunately there was not time to get a full english this morning as bath uni graphic students start at 9:30! so grabbing a quick egg and bacon sandwich from the jazz cafe (bath).

been on a little mini west country tour teaching at plymouth college of art and bath university. loverly weather or it!

took this while i was in cardiff spending a day with the Professional Design Practice students at the university of glamorgan. i gave a talk in the morning and did a little mini workshop in the afternoon. did a mini scavenger hunt with the students, i took this for my "risky". next workshop is in march 2012

i took this before my talk at the margate photography festival this morning. for some reason my talk was scheduled at 10:30am. had this at about 9:20 with Daniel Bass and it was very filling. i had no lunch apart form a cup of tea and slice of cake at the mad hatters. i had a good look around the festival. one of the high lights included some Martin Parr photos that i had never scene before dating back to 1986 taken in margate. if your near margate its definitely worth a look. its only on for one more day now.

took this wednesday lunch time when i managed to loose all of the bath uni students that i was teaching. they all had one of my business cards so get in touch, i taught i wouid use the time wisely and grab soime lunch before the crit and lecture in the afternoon.

this was taken at the jazz cafe in bath. i was informed it was good but i am used to the best now so i have very high standards now. it was good but the sausages let it down! looking forward to my next full english at the seven bees cafe. the are little rearrange this week so they are gonna go from 4 tables to 6. can't want to see it!
