He could be found at the West-end of the Hawthorne Bridge come rain or shine--playing his trumpet, and extending his charm to motorists and passersby. The people on Rodney Street obtained the proper permits to close off the street, and really celebrate the Fourth in the best way. Closing of the street for a block party is a fading pastime, which for me, made this evening quite enjoyable. The kids in this image are illuminated by fireworks. I was so impressed by how captivated they were.
