Did a quick test with the new toys I received today: The macro filter Raynox Dcr-250 and the Nissin DI866 flash. (forget about using the built-in flash with this filter) This pic is taken with the raynox mount on the tamron 70-300 in macro mode. By my calculations and test it is a near 4:1 magnification (now we are speaking). the Quality of this filter is far superior than the 4X close-up filter I used before. No lost of quality in the corners, no chromatic aberration and overall much clearer and sharper pictures.
