I went out and took a few pictures today
This is is not what I normally shoot and I really did not do this combination justice as the tree is just blossoming and the petals are almost the same color as the red cladding (that is clad on an amazing Art deco old Pierce Arrow Showroom (1930) building here in Toronto which is now converted to a STAPLES big box store...shameful redo)
I am not even sure if this is actually straight LOL

is it not always the same.....the season i mean...all the promise of renewal...walks in the sunshine, birds in their best dress, burgeoning with nature's drive....singing their hearts out, boys putting on a show for the girls. Spikes of green shoots, forcing the soil to move out of the way..blossoms bursting forth with vivacious abandon..
The sun is warmer, the rains gentler, the wind carries the sweet smells of awakening
Ok .........I could go on but I won't bore you
LOL
This is from the archives of course, there are no magnolias blossoming yet but soon..........soon. I can wait

There is something about the light falling on the water in the hours just before sunset....the golden glow, the sparkles on the water, golden splinters falling on the pine needles, gracing the ferns with a kind of magic..This is special for me......

Thank you to all who have inquired about my absence..I have , as some already know, back/disk issues that at the moment are preventing me from sitting at the computer for more than a few minutes at a time.
I must say though, that I am doing better this week though !!
