There aren't many places that I would rather be than Northern Michigan in the summertime. I made this photo while on a family trip to Blue Lake in northwestern Michigan a few years back. It's nice to look through old summer vacation photos on a cold winter day.

Melinda Curtis and the Dirty Curty band play 'Walkin After Midnight' from Patsy Cline. They sounded great and the crowd was definitely loving it.

On the way out of town, I stopped by Legend's Corner for a quick beer after a long day of shooting. On the way out I made this image of Tony Pierce and his band playing for a packed house.

Crossroad's Drummer

Doug Riley and his band play Crossroads in downtown Nashville.
You can find the Crossroads Bar on Music Row on Broadway Ave. It's a fun little bar with great music.

While out walking around Nashville enjoying the street scene, I couldn't help but notice all of the bars had an "open door" policy when it came to their music. It was neat to catch a glimpse of each musician as you walked by and they played to the fans and patrons inside the bar.

This guy's name is Buck McCoy - www.buckmccoy.com/

I didn't stick around too long, but he sounded great.

I shot this during opening day of the 2012 Baseball Season. There were actually a ton of people around, but somehow there was a lull of about 2 seconds when I was taking this shot. It appears as if no one is around, but he actually had a pretty good following.

This was shot down the road from Comerica Park and the Fox Theater in Detroit, Michigan.
