Monte Baldo is a mountain in the Italian Alps, located in the provinces of Trentino and Verona. Its ridge spans mainly northeast-southwest, and is bounded from south by the highland ending at Caprino Veronese, from west by Lake Garda, from north by the valley joining Rovereto to Nago-Torbole and, from east, the Val d'Adige (wiki).

View on the crater lake.

The western of the two calderas of furnas is partially filled by a crater lake, Lagoa das Furnas, at an elevation of 359 m (1,181 ft), and populated by several fumaroles and mud pools are located at the northern part of the lake (wikipedia).

Stadttor (meaning City gate in German) is a 72.55 metres (238.0 ft) tall building in Düsseldorf-Unterbilk, and a prominent landmark in Düsseldorf. The building was designed by Düsseldorf-based architecture firm Petzinka, Overdiek und Partner and completed in 1998. It marks the Southern entrance of Rheinufertunnel, which is also reason for its parallelogram-shaped floor plan (wikipedia).

Lagoa do Fogo (English: Lagoon of Fire) is a crater lake within the Agua de Pau stratovolcano in the center of the island of São Miguel Island in the Azores. Sankt Goarshausen is a tourist town located on the eastern shore of the Rhine, in the section known as the Rhine Gorge, directly across the river from Sankt Goar, in the State Rhineland-Palatinate, in Germany. It lies approximately 30 km south of Koblenz, and it is above all famous for the Lorelei rock nearby (wikipedia).

Burg Katz is a castle above the German town of St. Goarshausen in Rhineland-Palatinate. This magnificent castle stands on a ledge looking downstream from the riverside at St. Goarthe. It was first built around 1371 by Count Wilhelm II of Katzenelnbogen. The castle was bombarded in 1806 by Napoleon and rebuilt in the late 19th century, between 1896-98. It is now privately owned, and not open for visitors. (wikipedia)
