This is from the first batch of film that I've processed in Rodinal. The bottle says 18min for FP4 but all of my searches online point to 15min, I gave this 17min. So far I like it.

FP4+, Rodinal 1:50, 17min 20C.
Wista 5x4, 210mm Nikon.

My first test with 10x8 x-ray film.

I waited around 15mins for the sun to peek out for this one shot. It was totally worth it.

Rated at ISO 100 but it should probably have been 50. The good news is there seems to be tons of information in the shadows despite the negs looking thing. I processed this in Rodinal 1:50 to compensate for my underexposure. The other 2 sheets of this same scene looked underexposed when i processed in Rodinal 1:100 and giving 50% more dev time seemed to make no difference.

Thanks to Mat Marrash for showing me the way with x-ray film.

I made this portrait on my Wista 5x4, large format camera. I bought it brand new in 1990. It's made of Cherry wood and brass. Yes, the old cameras still deliver :-)

ADOX 25 film in my Wista 5x4.
Processed in Rodinal 1:50, 10:30secs, 20C.

This film is made in eastern europe to a recipe from the 1950's for that old skool flava :-)

I LOVE film.

This is a scan from Fuji instant pack film FP100B. It's discontinued so get it while stocks last.

Made with a Wista 5x4, 210mm Nikon lens and Polaroid back (small size).

The original is gorgeous and the feeling of seeing something of this quality for the first time when peeling the print is more exciting than I've ever felt looking at any image on an LCD camera screen :-P

Long live film.

Lighting info: Profoto D1 Air into softlighter, high camera right. Triggered with Air commander.

My first trip out with my Wista and Polaroid back during my lunch break today. It took me longer to decide on what/who to photograph than it did to set this up.

The white line is thread holding down a parasol that is out of shot because it was very windy today.

Wista 5x4, Polaroid back loaded with Fuji 100-C pack film 210mm lens.

I made a widget to help me focus for the Polaroid back for my Wista 5x4 and this was the first test shot to try it out. It worked perfectly.

This was late evening in the shade, hence the bluishness.

Wista 5x4, Polaroid back loaded with Fuji 100-C pack film, 210mm lens.
