Week 20 - simplicity

I love watching Easton try out new things. This was his first time in a sandbox, his grandpa made it for him. As a parent I find something so simple as watching your kid play can be so cute and amusing!

Week 19 {Reminders}

I was cleaning the house a few days ago and I went to clean up the sun room which is Easton's play room and it always looks like this toys scattered everywhere especially with his cars and trucks. IT makes me smile though because it is a continual reminder of the little sweet boy in our house who brings us so much happiness! Feel so blessed to have him in our life!

Not that this motorized John Deere of Eastons makes that much noise but it does make some noise. Easton's friend Zyana came over and drove Easton around in it. She was a little nervous of it going but she did great, perfect little driver.

Week 17 {to sleep or not to sleep}

Easton was supposed to be sleeping but it was one of our first sunny days in a long time and he wanted to play outside wanted nothing to do with napping. So I let him dig in mommys flower bed. Such a big helper! After this photo I took him inside and put him in his first shorts of the season!

Last Saturday I did some spring mini sessions. The weather was crazy that day! We had all types wind, rain, hail, and a little sun mixed in there. I was happy with the pictures though. Here is one from that day. She was such a little cutie.

Week 16 {Relax}

Every morning when Easton wakes up we spend some time in bed just snuggling and relaxing before we start our day. When daddy is off from work he does this with us too. Yesterday when I took this Jason was already at work since he goes at 6 in the morning. Love those few minutes of quiet time with our little man before the day starts.

Easton's first time with bubbles! I bought him a bubble blower a few days ago but it has been so cold out that we haven't gotten the chance to use it. Today it was a little warmer so we took advantage of it and also thought I would try to get his mind off of his four molers that he is getting right now, which is making for quite the cranky little man.

Week 14 - Feels like Home

Our little boy is in love with vroom vrooms {as he calls them}. He says it in his sleep and is quite often his first word in the morning. When I was having breakfast this morning he had his little cars out so I thought those cars are a reminder of Easton. THey are a little reminder of our sweet little Easton we have and how much happiness he brings us. Also these cars are all over 30 years old my husband Jason's mom saved them all from when he was a kid. So they remind me of my husband too!

I was playing with Easton this afternoon and took some pictures of him. His new favourite thing is to wear his gumboots so he wanted to wear them around the house. What a little goofball!

This little man brings us so much happiness into our lives he makes us smile everyday and feel so blessed to have him. Today I was getting ready for a newborn session and he found his old hat in the prop box and so he put it on and wore it around for quite awhile. He has the remains of lunch on his face too which was cottage cheese.

Week 11 - Play

Little behind on this project because we were away for almost 2 weeks. We went to Silverstar Ski Resort and had a wonderful time. Got to get some skiing in and some walks. Here we went for a walk around the pond that they use for skating in the winter. My friends sweet girl Silvy and my boy Easton were playing and Easton was having trouble getting back up with his puffy snowsuit on so Silvy was helping him up here. They are so cute when they play together.

Week 10 - Change {fresh starts, new beginnings, growth}

Yesterday was a beautiful sunny day so I wanted to take advantage of it with my little man Easton. Our weather is starting to change from winter to spring. This was his very first time playing in a mud puddle and wearing gum boots. He doesn't quite know how to walk in his gumboots yet so this is why he has mud all over them and the top because he had a tumble in the mud but that is half the fun!
