He chased seagulls, played in the sea, got us all wet, ate chips and ice-cream, sniffed all the rockpools, rolled in smelly seaweed and got sand everywhere. Odie had a fantastic time!

Urban threads pattern.
I used Mabon threads that I bought at the Knitting and Stitching show last year. I used satin stitch, chain stitch, running stitch, back stitch, feather stitch, long and short stitch, split stitch and some couching.
I mounted the embroidery on a canvas frame and then added the black fabric using buttonhole stitch (with a rainbow blending thread and charcoal thread) and added some flowers for a finishing touch.
Teenage daughter has claimed it for her room....no surprise there then.

We visited Nostell Park yesterday. I did manage to take photos of the gardens and house, but downloading my pictures today discovered about 50 of perfume bottles and wallpaper. New obsessions!
