I'm very fond of this photo for all sorts of reasons, so decided to share it with you all in memory of loved ones, and also for being able to have these wonderful memories through photography. All I've done is to take a photo of it, slight crop and got rid of a few blemishes. I think you know who I am, toothless little one I was then (had a mishap when I was three over some horrid stone steps) I'm not sure exactly what year this is, but I reckon around 1954 or something like that. Great grandma in the chair, my maternal nana to the left, mum holding me, taken in my nana's home.<br /> <br /> Don't you just love the 50'ies look, and I remember my mum's dress really well, because I didn't like at all, lol. Check my mum's nails out, they were always painted beautifully deep red. In fact, a male friend of mine thought my mum had blood on her fingers (lol) when he came to dinner one night.
