I saw this sign near the Midland Metro works next to Colmore Square on Colmore Circus Queensway (to Bull Street).

They just opened up a path in the middle of the road.

There was another sign / banner like this.

"These works are helping to bring Midland Metro to the heart of our city"

Perviously you had to walk around the site from Colmore Row to the square on the right side of here.

Now the path on the left hand side of the square is open again.

This is Yardley Wood Station from Highfield Road on the Hall Green / Yardley Wood border.

Yardley Wood it to the right of here (starts near that recreation ground).

Yellow warning sign - Have you paid?

Penalty fare for not buying a ticket and going on the train is £20.

At Jewellery Quarter Station in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter.

The station was opened on the line in 1995 (along with the rest of the Jewellery Line connection).

The Midland Metro line opened in 1999.

It is located on Vyse Street.

Noticed this old warning sign while I was waiting for my train home.

It still says Central Trains on it!

November 2011 updates on Birmingham New Street Station - the deconstruction of Stephenson Tower and the scaffolding on Station Street.

Been a bit busy of late to get updates around here, but have noticed the tower going down fast in the last few months.

Another Birmingham pub called The Crown. This one is near New Street Station and is on the corner of Station Street and Hill Street

The Crown Inn, stucco classical of c. 1881, probably by Thomson Plevins. Sober compared to his Victoria with alternating single and triplet windows. Original ground floor with Corinthian pilasters.
