Sunday trip with myself to an abandoned garden center/plantation. I haven't found much information about the place, but there are plans to demolish it all to make room for 400 new homes and 2000 kvm for offices and shops. There was a few large houses on the site that has recently been bordered up and are now empty so I guess it's just a matter of time before the demolition machines start to work.

medieval silver mine

Not a fantastic shot, but an amazing place. 'Akersberg mine' in the middle of Oslo, Norway, is a well hidden silver mine which dates back to the medieval ages and is believed to be the oldest mine on Norway. The mine is mentioned in a book written in the year 1170 but some believe the mine actually existed when Harald Hardråde founded the city of Oslo around the year 1050 and that the vikings got a lot of their silver from here and not just from plundering.

This part is an adit ('stoll' in Norwegian) which is a tunnel dug horizontally straight into the rock. The small wooden door in front of the entrance was surprisingly open. This mine is surly a well hidden secret underneath Oslo. Parts of the mine is under water and impossible to enter without diving gear.

The ship is Norwegian but lays on the Swedish side of a fjord between the two countries. It is a historic vessel built in 1949 in UK. It is the only one left of its kind that was a common cargo ship in the years after the war traveling the north European waters. First as a steam powered vessel then later reconverted and fitted with a 9 cylinder diesel motor engine. It has status as listed and many historians hope it will be saved and restored. The ship was decommissioned in 1986.

Originally named 'SS Pompey Power', then renamed 'Tandik' and in 1963 'Hamen'.

From a fantastic mission to this old, abandoned ship with Akrylamid and Bjö©.

The ship is Norwegian but lays on the Swedish side of a fjord between the two countries. For ten years the ship has been on this location, next to a steep cliff. Some serious climbing skills was needed to finally get on board. Thanks guys for helping me out.

First as a steam powered vessel then later reconverted and fitted with a 9 cylinder diesel motor engine. It has status as listed and many historians hope it will be saved and restored. Awesome trip to an old ship with Akrylamid and Bjö©. This is aft in a small staircase leading from lower deck to maindeck. Love the rivets, rust and decay here. The corridor below was pitch black and the only light came from these openings in the ceiling. Did some straight up shots as well.
