hi guys:)
are in Lofoten right now:)
crazy fog and terrible light most of the time!!!
hate fog........... well it can bee cool if it is really thick, but this kinda seafog is mostly annoying:))
so we have to make the most of it:)
this is a
shot of the small place called Uttakleiv, there are so many beaches and places in Lofoten but my heart is here, just dig this beach and place:) this shot is just when you pass through the tunnel getting there:) hope you like it:)

PS! this shot was the only one with some sun yeasterday i think:) lol crazy dynamic range in this but with some Lee filters and some adobe camera raw magic can happen :)

a Lofoten shot:)) this time from a beach called Haukelandstranda, a real lovely place:)
this picture i wanted to make the black silhouettes and the blue stand out !!
it is quite different from my other shots i think both regarding comp and colors, but i am pleased with this:)) hope you like it??

anyways, made my 5th frontpage on explore today and i have no idea how it works but i am thrilled about the response getting my picture there:))) thanks to each and everyone of you for all your comments and support:)) it means alot to me:))

a little dark here and there i know but i am in fact kinda pleased with the result on this one:))

have to start and thank you all for all the lovely comments, flickrmails and faves the last week:)) much appreciated:)) and i will try to get back to you as soon as i get the chance:))
was on vacation the last week in the Lofoten Islands:)) it was a blast in many ways, last night the "rorbu" (fishermans log?) we stayed at where about to get blowned to the sea due to some heavy duty winds!!! i just love the elements out there:)) this was in fact taken last afternoon before the storm started, it was raining cats and dogs, and it was raining sideways because of the strong wind!!!! lol it was hard to keep the camera and filters dry:)) only used a 0.9 soft grad from Lee on this one.
anyways, this beach is called "UTAKLEIV" and it was so impressing in so many ways and i will try to dig up some facts about it on later post from this beach:)) but i believe it was ranked as the worlds third best beach by the New York Times or something, but i have to check that up:)) i was most impressed by the "rock" part of this beach and most of my shots from this beach is from the rock side:))

ok ok ok, last one before the vacation:)) just had to post another one:))
when i stood there and watched out on the sea i felt kinda alone, and this could be a really remote location but it isn't:)) i think this came out kinda cool and moody and i like the contrast between the hard fg geology and the soft sky:))

just throwing out a new moodshot from an excellent evening about a week ago:)
posted one from this night last friday it is a vertical version:)
have a few more from this evening and i will save them for later:))
will be going on vacation to the Lofoten Island next week and i have promised my wife that i will take some off Flickr:)) so probably this will be the last post from me for over a week or so? i am not sure if we have internett acess where we are going either?? have to see:)
anyways, hopfully the weather will be ok when we get there, because there are some magnificent beaches and mountains in Lofoten:)

you see some rain in the left of the horizon in front of the golden light:)
this i wanna be kinda dark and moody and i feel pleased with the result:))) used Lee 0.9 and 0.75 soft grads on this one and nd8:))

it was a lovely evening with some crazy clouds and crazy colours!
made this one square, had to crop of some things on the left side.
beacame very pleased with the glow behind the mountains in this and the rock texture and details:))

it has been kinda crazy on my stream since friday, have had 3 explored shot since then and last night i got a frontpage for the first time:)) hurray for that:)

was out last night, was very pleased with the sky this evening!! :) the foregrounds i found kinda sucked, it was a very very low tide and there is seaweed heaven in this area when it is low tide:) lol but i had to use what i found and it ended up with this:) hope you like it?

was out on a little photoshoot last night:)
at last a lovely evening, been really crappy weather for too long now, so it was about time:))
still testing out my Lee set up and now i feel i sort of got the hang of it:)) lol here i used a 0.9 and 0.75 soft grad filters:)) thet works like a dream i think:)) truly neutral density that say about the Lee and i believe them:)) love the mood in this one, and i wanted to have the sky real dark:))
well well, still haven't been able to catch up and i am sorry for that, but now i have 10 weeks of work and hopefully i will be able to both catch up and shoot and fill up my archives:))

sorry for not stopping by your streams, still catching up!!
and it will take a couple of days more:))

this was taken the other night:) one of perhaps maybe 5 real summerdays we have had this summer!!
the weather has been the worst since 1973 or something i read in the paper, but this night was very very nice:))

been seeing alot of "horizon" shots lately with no clear focal points and i wanna do a few of these, but we don't have a place like that here, but i might get a chance doing these when we go to the Lofoten Islands mid August:))
well well, enought blabbering:)) lol

ps! the Lee filters is working great, but i am still learning and on this shot i had to take an extra exposure so i could bend in enough light on the fg rocks:))
