The Bald Eagle (Haliaeetus leucocephalus) is a bird of prey found in North America that is most recognizable as the national bird and symbol of the United States of America.
Its range includes most of Canada and Alaska, all of the contiguous United States and northern Mexico. It is found near large bodies of open water with an abundant food supply and old-growth trees for nesting.
The Bald Eagle is a large bird, with a body length of 70–102 cm, a wingspan of 180–234 cm, and a mass of 2.5–7 kg; females are about 25 percent larger than males.
The adult Bald Eagle has a brown body with a white head and tail, and bright yellow irises, taloned feet, and a hooked beak; juveniles are completely brown except for the yellow feet. Males and females are identical in plumage coloration.
The Bald Eagle's diet is opportunistic and varied, but most feed mainly on fish.

The Great Blue Heron (Ardea herodias) is a large wading bird in the heron family Ardeidae, common near the shores of open water and in wetlands over most of North and Central America as well as the West Indies and the Galápagos Islands. It is the largest North American heron, with a head-to-tail length of 91–140 cm (36–55 in), a wingspan of 167–201 cm (66–79 in), and a weight of 2–3.6 kg (4.4–8 lbs).
Adult herons, due to their size, have few natural predators, but can be taken by bald eagles, great horned owls and, less frequently, red-tailed hawks.

Glacier National Park is located in the U.S. state of Montana, bordering the Canadian provinces. Glacier National Park, together with the Waterton Lakes National Park in Canada, form the world's first International Peace Park.

Located at 6,646 feet above sea level is Logan Pass along the Continental Divide, which is at the summit of Going-to-the-Sun Road. This is the highest point at which you can drive your vehicle.

If there's one defining feature of this place it's the engineering wonder known as the Going-to-the-Sun Road. This spectacular 52-mile highway clings to the edge of the world as cars—and bikes—cross over the Continental Divide at Logan Pass.

Cypress Mountain is located in Cypress Provincial Park and is only 30 minutes from Downtown Vancouver with spectacular views of Downtown, Howe Sound and southwest to the gulf islands.

Cypress Mountain is made up of 3 mountains; Black Mountain, Mount Strachan and Hollyburn Mountain.

Cypress has many natural highlights. Its mountaintop plateaus and rugged peaks, sub alpine lakes, streams and meadows, ancient forest stands and second-growth forests provide a wide range of habitats for diverse flora and fauna.

The Spectacled Owl, Pulsatrix perspicillata, is a large tropical owl. It is a resident breeder from southern Mexico and Trinidad south to southern Brazil, Paraguay and northwestern Argentina. There are six subspecies.
The Spectacled Owl is 46 cm (18 in.) long and weighs 850 g (1.9 lbs). It is unmistakable with brown upperparts, head and upper breast, white facial markings and buff underparts. The eyes are yellow and the beak is pale. The juvenile is even more distinctive than the adult, being completely white apart from a chocolate brown facial disc.
