サン・シュルピス広場にある、サン・シュルピスの噴水。建築家のルイ・ヴィスコンティの設計。

The Fontaine Saint-Sulpice is a monumental fountain located in Place Saint-Sulpice in the 6th arrondissement of Paris. It was constructed between 1843 and 1848 by the architect Louis Visconti, who also designed he tomb of Napoleon. The four figures on the fountain represent four French religious figures of the 17th century famous for their eloquence. (from wikipedia)

聖シュルピスに捧げられたサン＝シュルピス教会は、長さ113m、幅58m、高さ34mで、パリ第2の大きさをもつ教会。

改修のためか、ドームの内側が白く覆われてい多たのが残念。

古代ギリシア風に、コリント式の列柱の上にペディメントを載せたパンテオンのファサード。ジャック=ジェルマン・スフロの設計による幅110メートル、奥行き84メートルの巨大な新古典主義の建築は、1792年、小高い丘の上に完成した。

The Facade of Panthéon de Paris at the hill. The pediment with sculptures and Corinthian orders are classical architectural elements. The building is 110 meters long, 84 meters wide, and 83 meters high. It was designed by Jacques-Germain Soufflot and completed in 1792.
