congratulations to my big brother on getting his master's degree today :) i am proud of and love you! and so does dad, even though he doesn't look too happy in this (sorry, 爸爸, for making you take this with us and then picking the one where you are totally unprepared, hehe).

more photos from everything that happened in between this and the previous picture in the (hopefully) near future, given i have internet in the motherland. if not, then when i come back. aaand off to china for the first time in 15 years!

I actually clone stamped my parents in--this was originally three different exposures, but I love how it turned out. Now no one's shadow blocks the lighting for anyone else! Yayayayayayayay

@ Stanford's cactus garden! So beautiful and pretty secluded :). Hopefully I can get some of my better photos of the actual plants up sometime soon?

My first HDR; it's really, really orange, but I'm still happy with the result :).

(Real specs: taken 9/3/10 @ 6:53 pm [PST]. Five exposures w/ Canon EOS 50D + 16-40mm f/4L)
