i folded this beautiful model and took a photo beside my husband's guitar.

this lovely origami model was named Kiss of Sakura designed by Tanya Vysochina.

My new paper toy :) This is how it looks like when all the flowers are closed. I kept it closed when storing it to avoid damaging the points.

A 30 unit modular origami designed by Tomoko Fuse. I really enjoyed folding this. I tried to used origami papers for cranes here, and it turned out just fine.

This rose is entirely made up of 1 strip of paper. The process is the same as you would make this out of fabrics or silk ribbons. Tutorials are readily available in the internet. Do give it a try and have fun doing it :)

This is a 30 unit module and I'm glad I got to finish it last week! Its quite different from Fuse's Morning Glory ... I just love the stars created.

I placed an unfinished work against the window and to my surprised the paper I used is thin enough for the light to penetrate...its really a nice hue...so I took a picture ♥

After strolling in the mall, we decided to walk outside and breathe in some fresh air. This is just across the Marina Mall, a 2 minute walk to a perfect place to sit on the grass and unwind :)

This is Nikki. She's a very sweet dog. Always following me and my husband wherever we go, sleeps at the foot of the bed, lies at our feet, wakes up when you wake up ( there's no use pretending to sleep - she jumps right up the moment she knows you're awake:) I miss her. Hope she's happy in doggie heaven.

When we stayed in Al Ain, UAE for a month, me and my husband joined some friends in visiting Jebel Hafeet. Its so windy and cold up there. It beautiful and its really worth visiting.

The fountain is the main focal point of this Town Center. Shops and restaurants surround this area. Its really nice to sit and just watch the kids play and families gather during Thursday nights.
