Don't know what's going to happen today in Boulder and especially on the CU campus. I hope Boulder is still there when I arrive tonight.

I was also surprised to see how much litter wasn't picked up after the event. My girlfriend informs me that, although there are many environmentally friendly people in Boulder, it's full of people from California.

I had heard about this "event" a few months ago and had to see it for myself. I didn't know what to expect, since I don't like crowds very much and don't know anyone that smokes weed...that I know of. But it was actually very, very civil. I got bumped a few times and without fail whoever bumped me also excused himself. Strangers said hi. People waited patiently to pass or walk through. (As a bonus it seems the pot smell, while not sticking to my clothing, canceled out the moth ball smell that I couldn't shake from my jacket.)
