This is from my last visit to the Brecon waterfalls two weeks ago but I didn't post it until now. I was hoping the trees were going to be more colorful by this weekend and I was going to repeat this shot. But unfortunately colors weren't there.

Fairy Tale..

At the end of the day, after we have done the 4 waterfalls on the other side, we decided to stop by Sgwd Dwli Uchaf just to grab few shots. But once we got there, we were astonished with the light.

It was still a bit harsh, but the trees helped filter some of the light. There was some mist coming out of waterfall as well which added to the mood.

This is 2 shots merged. I had to go with a square crop to fit everything I wanted.

Sgwd Y Pannwr - Take Two

I spent the saturday running up and down the valleys again from waterfall to waterfall. I visited Sgwd Y Pannwr and decided to follow the advise from the comments on my last post, and took the path down opposite the waterfall.

This created a completely different scene from my last shot.

Moss

Who would have thought that there is actually plants living on glaciers?

These moss grow on the rocks and dirt that falls on the glaciers from the surrounding valleys as they are eroded.

Moss grows on the ancient volcanic rock giving it a carpeted look.
