yeah thats the city of london
so heres an obscured view from the shard, the view is cool, but way too many reflections on the double glazed windows for any serious photography, and no tripods rule sucks!!! give me a rooftop any day, the rain was actually a bonus!!!

something a little different for todays photo, usual perspective, and its a cityscape......so not that different!!! but the composition is a little different. I love the juxtaposition of nature and architecture. Hope you are all having a great day!!! many thanks for faves and comments, i will do my very best to catch up with all of your streams

One of the best times to shot night photography is during "blue hour" or when you have a full moon, luckily for me, I captured both of these. I have shot at this location before, and know it well, but I was still excited to be shooting here again. I must of shot over 100 frames as the light and clouds were changing constantly. And trust me the blue is straight out of the camera!!!

I have tried to get this shot many times, as i love the pov, but usually the intense sodium lights aimed at Tower Bridge leave flares all over the image, but with the new lighting, which are less intense........got it!!

BTW, i cleaned the sensor in my D700...... you need to check this image large, its very detailed.
