The Maserati MC12 Versione Corse is based on the MC12 GT1, which won the FIA GT Manufacturers' Championship in 2005.

The MC12 Corsa is intended for private use, albeit restricted to the track, as the Corsa's modifications make it illegal to drive on the road. Total production of the Maserati MC12 Versione Corse is limited to only 12 cars worldwide.

The yacht can achieve a speed of 13 knots on just one engine. A cooling pump integrated into the gearboxes assures safe operation on one engine by pumping oil through the idle gearbox. The shaft of the idle engine can be disengaged, leaving the idle propeller and shaft to freewheel.

The Ferrari 512 S is V12-powered sports car which was entered in the 1970 International Championship for Makes by the factory (Scuderia Ferrari) and private teams. Later that year, modified versions resembling the main competitor Porsche 917 were called Ferrari 512 M (for modificata).

The Ferrari 512 M Berlinetta pictured here — bearing serial number 1018 — was a 512 S Spyder, but was converted to "M" specs as Berlinetta in 1971. The 512M is powered by a rear-mounted 5.0-liter V12 which provides 610 bhp at 9.000 rpm. The 815 kg weighing car is able to reach of top speed of 340 km/h.

Porsche 909 Bergspyder

The 909 Bergspyder is a sports car designed and built in 1968 specifically for competing in hillclimbing competitions. This short-lived model is powered by a 1.9 liter eight-cylinder boxer engine with an output of 275 horsepower. With a staggering low weight of only 384kg the car dubbed the “plastic Porsche” is able to sprint from standstill to 100km/h in two seconds while its top speed is 250km/h.

Porsche 917 PA Spyder

The Porsche 917 PA Spyder was developed for the Can-Am Challenge, the insane racing series which was known for its “anything goes” philosophy. Built in 1970, the experimental Spyder was powered by a 6.6-liter V16 engine, which provided 750 horsepower. The 775 kg weighing car was able to reach a top speed of 360km/h. But eventually Porsche opted for a turbocharged twelve-cylinder engine to be used in racing, so this 917 version never raced.

The Porsche 908 Langheck-Coupé was designed to enter in the Group 6 racing class for prototype-sports cars. Powered by a 3.0 liter flat-eight which provides 350 horsepower, this model won Porsche’s first World Championship in 1969 with five victories in a row. All in all, the 908 was very successful but almost forgotten because it was overshadowed by the famous 917.
