Okay ...starting over with different attitude about this lens....never be lead to despair by a bad review ...always look for teachers or testers of the product...you can handhold this lens and you can rethink the distance and you can take photos after dark... all in lens and your camera ..thanks to all the friends that helped

the new lens is a cheap one but I am trying to learn before I invest....it was really to dark for the use of this lens but I am still learning to focus with it....on this set I did many different speed and many ISO settings ...still had lots of noise so I used Neat image to remove the noise.....then i used Picasa3 to make the collage....

this set was taken earlier with little more light ....still a blur effect ....but I think its just the lens and it's glass...but I will make this work before I give up....cheap is not always bad ..just harder to learn ....

Travel around this lake was scary ...even on dry roads it is an adventure...but drifting snow and ice made it a real adventure...to see any color through the storm

May 15 2013 Still Snowing

Okay we are back and it was such a exciting day ....we started out to beautiful skies and warm temps....we stopped to watch large V"s of swans and cranes and geese flying overhead...we took many many nap stops ...it was beautiful all the way to three miles before Fielding lake area....then the sun turned to grey skies spitting small flakes of that silly stuff called SNOW ...AGAIN with the snow ...but it was melting on the road so we continued on.....by the time we got to Paxson Alaska ..... it was again clear and sunny ...we turned to go up the highway ....we got s far as the curve at the six mile area....the drifts were crazy on both sides of road...and the snow was crusty and it was so much colder...being old and having only one auto ..hubby turned us around in middle of road and we started home.....so we are back and this was our fourth time trying to get to place that screams to our hearts ...we are home ...another nap under our need... we saw swans,ducks,many small birds, falcon,hawks,eagles,moose,fox,caribou ,heart shaped clouds ,beautiful vistas ...we stopped at Birch Lake ....we drove out to barley project.....down to Harden Lake... I blew bubbles and watched them float across the frozen lake at Birch Lake ....we ate fruit cakes,chicken salad sandwiches and drank coffee...parked facing sun when we could find it and took warm Alaskan naps.....and that was our adventure today MAY 25 2013......
