Daffodils are always a welcome sign of spring... and I can't believe
we're seeing the first sign in February. There's something about spring
that makes me want to get the old camera out.

I'm back...and I have really missed all my Flickr friends this winter.

You won't find a more rewarding or easier-to-grow plant than the Daylily. They have foliage that looks great all season, flowers in a rainbow of colors and are able to survive with very little care... ((That's my kind of flower.))

The weather forecast is, 6 more days of rain. ( Oh, no )... I've always heard if it rains the first day of the month.. it will rain 15 days that month... So, if we get 6 more days, we'll have that total of 15 days of rain for the month of May.

I went to the field yesterday to take a few shots of my husband combining beans.
As you can see, it is very dry and dusty here because we've had so little rain this
summer. It has not been a good year for the crops.

I've found that growing Zinnias are very rewarding with their full, rich colors and abundant blooms. Most of the time they're still blooming in the fall while other flowers start to fade.
