In Harlowton,Montana is the former "Graves Hotel" Once a grand place in the days of the Milwaukee Road. When the railroad abandoned it's line across the west the hotel fell on hard times. It looks like neither the hotel nor the cafe are open.
Still a gorgeous building it needs someone with a ton of money to restore and preserve it. It looks like the current owners are doing a nice job keeping the exterior looking handsome.

Seen in Harlowton,Montana. The shell of the once stately "State Theater" Long abandoned, previously burned, it suffered another fire in August.

One more in my collection of photos featuring Montana County Courthouses and my motorcycle. I aim to get a photo of each one during my rides around the state.
Many of them I have been by on my motorcycle but that was before I decided on this project.
This is the Wheatland County Courthouse in Harlowton,Montana.

North of Harlowton,Montana I saw this abandoned homestead. There were 2 houses and multiple outbuildings.
One of the houses was obscured by a trashy looking trailer house so I did not photo it. Lots of artifacts and abandoned vehicles. No trespassing so I stayed on the dirt road. Seen while riding my 2009 Suzuki DL650 Motorcycle.

In Harlowton,Montana I saw this line up of Detroit Iron.
From the left: Ford Pinto,Oldsmobile, Toothy Buick, Oldsmobile, a GM product, 2 Chevy LUVs and some kind of boring white sedan. Take your pick.

This former Railroad Depot is alongside the main highway in Harlowton,Montana.
It has been moved from somewhere to it's present location. No clue what railroad it is from. Anybody out there know ?
