I will be extremely busy today and especially tomoorw with a 16 hr miniimum day.
Hope all BC'ers get out and vote.
The early voting is higher than in past elections and could be one of the better contested ones in a long long time.
I will know many results before the news gets them, but will not be able to say anything until it's all over.

It's been a little cold close by the water these last couple of days.
Sorry I have not been commenting much as a friend was murdered in Northern Alberta on Friday night.

first macro test

These were shot with my 105mm macro lens.
Each day I plan to try out my different lenses on my new toy and see how well they operate.
I found the macro to be a bit more of a challenge on a full frame camera over a crop sensor. It will take a few more uses before I get the right hang of it.
The hummingbird shot is more cropped than any photo I have ever posted and it still has lots of detail to it.

I had to cancel my vacation time as there is a ton of work coming up and I can't afford to miss it.

I tried to make a slide show of these images, but when I uploaded it to flickr, They all had lousy focus. Therefore I decided to go the long way.
These are pretty much straight from the camera and almost in the order I shot them.
I do like shooting flowers in the rain.
