Description: A Passover Seder service for men just returned from overseas combat will be broadcast from an Eastern port Thursday evening, March 29th, the second Seder night, from 10:15 to 10:30 p.m., EWT, over the Mutual Network.The Seder, to be presided over by Chaplain Edward T. Sandrow, veteran of the Aleutians campaign, will be for those men unable to get to their homes in time to celebrate the Jewish Festival of Liberation. The Mutual broadcast has been arranged in cooperation with the National Jewish Welfare Board.
