This was shot at 300mm, like all the rest of this set, and I'm pretty happy with the results.

Not sure what's going on with the facial contortions though!

In which Ash destroys the deadites.

Ash is made from Indiana Jones' legs and shoulder-slung bag (7620), Sumo Wrestler's torso and Pilot's right arm (both from Minifig series 3 - 8803), Space Man's head (3365), and some random hair. The chainsaw is a standard chainsaw piece, with the end of the connector whittled down to fit snuggly into a minifig arm. The piece still also fits into its original housing thanks to stopping whittling a couple of millimetres from the end of the connector.

I think Pamela might have done something to upset Mr Monster. He doesn't look too comfortable there.

The Artist and The Monster are from the Lego Minifig Series 4 (8804) that's just starting to hit the shops now. The Lifeguard is from Lego Minifig Series 2 (8684) from a few months ago. The sofa is part of the Lego Fire Brigade set (10197) and the easel was my own design, made up of spare parts.

Photographed in my homemade light box, with a bit of post production afterwards for levels. I need better lights.

I'm starting to come to the conclusion though that my Sigma 10-20mm lens is the perfect lens for photographing Lego.

Someone at Lego likes Glee, it seems.

This year's Lego City Advent Calendar came with a tiny Lego piano on the 7th, and then just three days later out popped a Brad Ellis (the Piano Man who never speaks) minifig.

Of course, it's not actually a Brad Ellis minifg, but I like to think it is. After all, how cool would that be?

Or, things to do when you get in pissed from the pub - spend 45 minutes peering over the 7 foot high wall into the brewery that neighbours you, trying to take a photo of the moon.

ISO 400, 300mm, 1/6s, f5.6 - taken on the gorillapod since my proper tripod wasn't able to get to a suitable position.

Pretty happy with how this came out considering how Not Sober I was. Well, happy apart from the blue ghosting on the top left of the moon, anyway.
