the bastion (Bastei / Rathen)

here you see the destination of our tour - it is the bastion near the little municipality called Rathen. It is a big bridge build of stone between these big rocks. at the end and all around you have a really great view!

here you see one the rocks around the "honey mountains". i really don't know the exact notation of this rocks and i dind't have any gps-tagging, but it is around the bastion ;-). so its really hard to name alle the formations, especially when you are a voyager.

thats the way up to the bastion. as is told you before you have many opportunities to rise your destination. we chose a little "climbing" path and there also were some stairs. the longest one were about 800 single stairs (around sweden holes).

walking around the "Saxon Switzerland" is really fun! you can walk on conventional paths through the forest or you can freely walk around the mountains ;-)
we had a lot of fun and the weather was really great! so here my girlfriend is "climbing" around on the way to the "bastion".

yeah lets start the tour through the "Elbsandsteingebirge" in saxony around Bad Schandau. The little virtual walk starts around the "Schrammsteine" a really big massif. the best is that you can freely walk around all the ground.

here you see some more of my last tour. this is the barrage in our city i told you yesterday.
the bridge was restored about 5 years ago i guess (can't remember exactly). it was pretty cold, but i love the reflections. hope you enjoy it too.
i tried a high contrast b/w conversation of this one, but i do like this on more.
some more backlight-shots with the tokina will come soon.

as i told you yesterday, i walker a bit around the winter-wonderland ;)
i visited a great barrage in our city. the pictures of it, i'll show you the next days ... currently i'm not that happy with the processing, but i'll manage it :)
so here you can see the first picture of my way. i testet some backlight with my tokina. i know, it produces some nasty flares, but i think it worked pretty well.

woohooo ... around -20°C this night ... soo f* cold. same place as before, but the direction of view is right through the city center. there you can see the famous "cookierole", nowadays also known as the intershoptower.
now i'll walk around a bit and take some more pictures of our wonderful landscapes ;)

and its the hague again. here you see the political centre of the netherlands. its called binnenhof or also known as the "inner court". at this complex of buildings, the dutch parliament meets since 1446. more buildings are constructed around this court next to the little lake hofvijer, also called "court pond" because of its position ;)
specially you see here the ridderzaal (great hall) or known as the knights hall and it has been the office of the prime minister of the netherlands.

... in den haag. as i told you before, we had nearly every day a new destination. so this day we made a trip to den haag to see the torture-museum (gevangenpoort) a former prison and the international court of justice. the main attraction - the prison - was closed ... yeah ... refurbishing. so we walked around the city with its mixture of old and new houses. i liked it a lot.
this picture was taken in the streets of den haag and i don't remember the street, but i think it was very central in the citycentre.

this is my last picture of our little trip to the beach. this is nearly the same position as the two last pictures taken at.
it is no hdr. i just used the cokin-system. i don't really remember the filtertype but i think it was the p121m ... so maybe it was nd4 or nd8.

... not really ;) she was just waiting for some friends of us, building a fiddle-castle (don't know if this word exists ^^) i hope you know, what i mean: you take some sand and water and mess around with it :D so you can build some strange towers with some nice curves.
they had their fun and i played a bit with my af 180, as you can see in the previous picture. this was our day at the beach near a small town called Callantsoog (20km to Den Helder) and it was worthwhile - we had a great day!

this picture was taken at the beach, near a city called Callantsoog - see the next image for some more beach-impressions. i tried some actionshots with my new af 180 and i am very happy with this nice lens. it isnt the fastest one, but i like the haptic and the lovely bokeh.
