This photo was shot in natural light (large window Camera Right, light filtered through sheer curtains). I used a Canon 50mm f1.3 lens wide open, on a Canon 20D Camera.

Message for the Federal Minister of Health

This capture serves two purposes. First of all, I continue to experiment with Shallow Depth of Field. This photo was shot with Canon 50D, a 50mm f1.4 Lens, wide open at 1.4, ISO was 100, no flash. The Black and White Treatment was with Photoshop Elements, after being processed from Raw, with Canon Digital Professional.

Secondly, we learned today in Ontario, that the Federal Conservative Government is only sending about 170,000 doses of H1N1 Swine Flu Vaccine next week, instead of the 1 million doses that had been promised to the Province.

Madame Minister we have been standing in 2 and 3 hour line ups this week, outside in the cold, with our babies and toddlers to get vaccines that could have been administered by our family doctors. This week we find out that there isn't going to be enough vaccine for our older children, possibly for a month or so.

This tribute is dedicated to the Honourable Minister of Health, in the Conservative Government of Canada.
